A- Though thee are different theories regarding the origin of the Aryans, but the most popular one is that the Aryans came from central Asia in about 1500 B.C. 

Q2. Which Gods & Goddesses were worshipped by the Aryans during the early vedic period? 
A- During the early vedic period, the Aryans worshipped nature and its forces like sun, earth, sky, wind, rain & fire. 

Q3. Describe the changes that took place in their religion in the later vedic period? 
A- During the later vedic period, the mode of worship became complex & complicated. The early vedic gods such as Indra, Agni, Varun etc. lost their importance and were replaced by Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva. Religious rituals, Yagnas & sacrifices became complicated & elaborate.

A- Vedas – 1. There are 4 Vedas -the Rigveda, Samveda, Yajurveda & the Atharvaveda 2. They mainly contain hymns in praise of various Gods 3. The Rigveda was the earliest written around 1500 BC 
Epics – 1. The 2 epics -Ramayan & Mahabharat were written during the later vedic period. 2. They give us a lot of information about the society and economy of the later vedic period. 3. The Ramayan was written by Sage Valmiki in Sanskrit and tells the story of Ram. 4. The Mahabharat was written by Sage Ved Vyas in Sanskrit. It describes the great battle between the Pandavas & the Kauravas
